Despite their terrifying explosive potential, Entity 818 instances are inherently neutral and completely passive toward human wanderers. They wander slowly through abandoned retail levels, minding their own business unless provoked or approached. Behavior & Volatility The defining hazard of Entity 818 is its involuntariness and extreme physical instability: Trigger Radius: If any living creature, entity, or human enters within 1 foot of Entity 818, the entity experiences an involuntary, lethal chain reaction. Explosion: The detonation instantly destroys the entity and unleashes high-velocity crystalline debris. The flying pop-rock fragments carry enough kinetic force to pierce through a 1-foot-thick solid metal wall, causing immediate lethality to the triggering party and anyone in the immediate blast zone. Harvestable Remnants: Once the shockwave subsides and the fragments land, the spent pop rocks lose their explosive properties and become entirely non-hazardous and safe for human consumption.
