@themowerfam: Would you buy this lawnmower not running well? It had a Kohler engine

I don’t trust anything used where things are disconnected. I bought a used zero turn that ran great at low rpm, but could not figure out why the throttle wouldn’t raise the rpms. Gambled on it for only $300 bucks, after further investigation after getting it home, I found the the seller had rigged it to prevent the carb from going to full throttle to hide a bad blow by issue. I would be scared to pull trigger on anything now that I can’t see run at full throttle.

i know exactly what he’s talking about i took some fuel line from a weedwacker and it fixed the popping out issue for me

Sounds like a pos I wouldn’t buy that junk but the guy is a hell of a salesmen to someone who doesn’t know about mowers it’s 10$ n 5 min to fix the cable there is definitely carb issues n probably lots more wrong with pos stay away !!
