@gioacchinorusso_: Oxford Street is going to be permanently pedestrianised 🚶‍♂️🇬🇧 From October 2026, the first 1km section, from Orchard Street near Selfridges to Great Portland Street, including Oxford Circus, will become traffic-free. 🚫 No cars, buses, taxis or private hire vehicles 🚑 Emergency services will still have access 🚚 Deliveries will continue overnight This is the first phase of the wider plan to transform Oxford Street. Further sections would require additional consultation. What do you think? 👀

I’m glad I experienced London as it once was, decline really kicked in the 1990s.. As a person born in Stepney in 1976. I couldn’t afford to live in most parts of London. This has nothing to do with immigration. It’s more to do with our corrupt housing market.
