Pleaseeee! I’m not the profession but I do live in my body and I’m very familiar with it. I feel so frustrated when my experience is ignored or I am told my symptoms are just “psychological.” Thank you!

on the flip side, my inpatient preceptors had a habit of blaming cannabis use too often with a specific demographic (hyperemesis, cannabis use, 20-30 y.o.) 🙃 so, good to evaluate all potential causes bc some of those patients had alternative pathology beyond cannabis use

I see this all the time & often advise that we try removing the cannabis WHILE we do further investigation. It’s not always the cause but if it is it’s a pretty easy fix

Correlation is not causation.
Also, just because somebody has been able to deal with, it does not mean that it's not a big deal.
( I have seen this happen to myself and other people. I know especially in gastro)
