@saltsugarandstories: Good Morning, y’all. 🤍 Today feels a little emotional, and tomorrow will too, but for a completely different reason. I usually don’t pull out the Friendship Tea until October when the air starts getting cooler, but this morning it just felt right. Maybe it was the name. Maybe it was what it represents. Friendship. We don’t have to believe the same things, vote the same way, worship the same way, or even understand each other all the time to remember that we are still human beings sharing this little patch of earth together. We can disagree and still care about each other. We can choose kindness. We can love people anyway. Also, tomorrow marks one whole year since I started showing up on social media every single day. Not one missed day. What started as me simply turning on a camera somehow became this incredible community of people I genuinely look forward to talking to every morning. Y’all aren’t numbers on a screen to me. Somewhere along the way, you became my friends. So Friendship Tea felt pretty appropriate this morning. ❤️ Here’s to softer hearts, cooler mornings, loving people well, and another day we’ve been blessed to wake up and have together. Good Morning, y’all. I’m awfully thankful you’re here. 🤍 ☕️ FRIENDSHIP TEA 🍊❤️ Ingredients: • 2 cups Tang • 1 cup powdered lemonade mix, any sweetened kind • 1½ cups instant tea, sweetened or unsweetened • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon • 1 tablespoon ground cloves Directions: Add everything to a large bowl and mix really well. Make sure those cloves get completely mixed throughout because they like to be stubborn! Store the dry mixture in an airtight container. To Make a Cup: Add 2–3 heaping spoonfuls of Friendship Tea mix to a 12–16 oz mug. Fill with hot water and stir well. And listen… this is the REAL Friendship Tea. 😂 We’re using Tang and sweetened lemonade. Nobody said this was a low-calorie, sugar-free situation. Warm, sweet, citrusy, spicy and tastes like fall and winter in a cup. ❤️☕️#goodmorning #recipes #tea #friendship #Love
