@jakeclaverqfop: XRP cross-border payments work through the built-in DEX on the XRPL. USD converts to XRP, XRP settles across the network in seconds, and the receiving party gets whatever currency they want on the other side. Banks currently pre-fund Nostro Vostro accounts in each foreign currency to facilitate this, which is slow and expensive. XRP removes that pre-funding requirement and settles in real time through the DEX routing mechanism.
