sitting here bawling. school has started again and the rushing in the morning, rushing for bedtime, rushing to soccer. even though im woth my kids alot the rushing makes me feel like I javnt spent anytime with them. thankyou for this

I really needed this reminder brother, thank you! Thank God you came across my feed because I get caught up in all the stuff I "have to do". For me its especially the part where God is so patient with us, so what nerve I have to be rushing my child when she is learning. Hit me hard. Thank you for sharing.

I was rushing my kid’s childhood so hard and God pumped the brakes on my life so I can take my time to enjoy them and I am a beginner now on parenting so I can understand them. I am so thankful for the opportunity God is giving me.

This is great advice and something that takes a lot of practice as a parent. I was teaching my son to drive the other day (😭) and I know he needs a lot of reassurance, encouragement, and patience to try something new. It is so hard to keep your cool when your kid is about to hit every mailbox on the road in your car 😂😂😂😭 we were driving at night because theres less people on the road and we went to pull into a neighborhood and as soon as he made the turn I knew he was hitting the curb, and we sure did. I just immediately started saying "it's okay, it's fine" and he looks at me and goes "I know.😐" Son, perhaps I was saying that for myself and not you 😭😭😂
