That’s a significant move from the defense. If the attorney believes the jurors’ statements raise serious concerns about the trial, it makes sense for him to bring those issues before the court. Ultimately, the judge will have to consider the arguments and evidence and decide what happens next.

It would be totally different if this man listened to the instructions, took notes during the trial, and had a slew of reasons for voting the way he did, but he didn’t. He acted more arrogant than the program, thought he was smarter than the group, and voted arrogantly to prove a point. This wasn’t someone who came in genuinely to be a responsible juror, it’s someone wanting to vote ignorantly. And I find those who are simpleminded, are the ones saying differently
