@queencitytrends: Who wants to run a 10k with me? ;) A few weeks ago I called myself "not a runner," and here we are today with a full game plan to run a 10k in November, thanks to @googlegemini! This isn't just about the training, but about proving to myself I can do anything I set my mind to. Gemini not only built an 8-week training plan for me but also kept me accountable with my Daily Brief, allowing me to focus on accomplishing this goal. What's something you've always wanted to do? See how Gemini can help you get there! #GooglePartner

It feels unfair to look back and think about all the conversations you had, all the patience you gave, all the times you were understanding and stayed, believing that one day they’d finally be who you always thought they could be. Then the relationship ends, and your biggest fear becomes that someone else gets to experience the version of them you waited and endured for. It’s so unfair and I’d go so far to say it’s a BETRAYAL of your time, your love, your energy. You did all the hard work, and somebody waltzed in and got the reward. Listen, nothing I say is going to magically make that outcome feel okay because, truthfully, it isn’t. If that’s how things play out, of course it would hurt and for a long time too. ❗️But what I don’t want you to do is take that pain and turn it into evidence that you weren’t enough. ❌ Someone changing later DOESN’T automatically mean they couldn’t have changed for you because you weren’t worth changing for. People’s willingness to grow is influenced by so many things… mental maturity, timing, consequences, self-awareness, life experiences, AND whether they’re finally ready to face the parts of themselves they’ve spent years avoiding. I know it’s tempting to tell yourself, “Maybe I was just the lesson.” I’ve thought that too. But maybe you were NOT the lesson. Maybe you were simply the person who loved someone before they were willing (or able) to do the work. There’s a really important difference! So if this fear has been eating away at you, let yourself grieve the unfairness of it, sure. BUT Don’t shame yourself for feeling hurt. Just be careful not to let your mind rewrite the story into, “I wasn’t enough.” Because those are two completely different things.
