@carrotlaneofficial: I’ve been in this space for 8 years. There will always be opportunities. But with advancements in AI, increased productivity and eventually superintelligence, I think there could be less and less arbitrage in markets. Because it’s humans who create the irrational behaviour that creates the opportunity. A bit like Mr Buffett used to say: while humans are emotional, they’ll be driven by fear and greed, and that makes Mr Market inefficient. AI could eventually put an end to some of that. Who knows if that happens. I just think if prices run this cycle, why take silly risks on guesses? Own established assets with size, then use the other end of the barbell for something smaller to feed your inner dopamine-fuelled crack addict.
