My 2 cents :
We had a cockatiel when my kids were small. They would come home from school and he would fly into their room to play with them. He was a great bird. Just don’t have a pet rat with one. The rat saw him as a threat. Also ceiling fans can be hazardous

I got my Cockatiel, Rosey, when I was 7. I had 25 wonderful years with him. I'm 33 now and it's still odd not to hear his singing. But I really hope this little man can have an equally wonderful, long friendship with his 'tiel! They're wonderful birds ❤️
