It's normal. Enjoy your parents Juliann, because it's a horrible feeling when you don't have them. I hope things are OK with them. It's easy to take them for granted, I did it. I am probably telling you what you already know....but I wish I still had them.

I took care of my brother, took him through hospice at his home, I cared for my Dad until he ended up in the hospital, and passed quickly, and I moved in with my Mom the last six months of her life. Easy? No. But, I am grateful that I did.
