In my culture, there’s this old belief that when a woman is pregnant with a girl, the baby girl “takes” her mother’s glow for herself, which is why the mother is said to look more tired and be more prone to breakouts. But when she’s carrying a boy, he’s believed to “reflect” that glow back onto his mother, so she looks fresher and more radiant 😂

I had heart burn every day. I couldn’t sleep either! But was so tired and i could hear my heart beating in my ear. They say heartburn means she will have a good amount of hair, i thought it was bogus! 🤣 Then she came and holy dark hair Batman. Heheh. She’s five now 🥺

That’s how I was between my two pregnancies my sons (1st) was AMAZING!!! I worked out until a few days before delivery! Then my daughter NOPE!!!!!! The worst ever and made her be the last FOR SURE!!!!!

When I was pregnant with my son I had NO swelling, never felt uncomfortable, no acne but I had HORRIBLE heartburn and I had wild dreams! My mom told me heartburn = hair and well he came out with a thick full head of hair.
