I was born with an abnormal spinal cord condition. I’ve had bladder issues for years and was just recently diagnosed.

I have a spc. TMI - If blocked I can piss myself when my shrunken bladder decides multiple times until changed. Or it will decide build up and up, and cause me pain and the worse head pain ever. Then I piss myself from the spc site when it's changed. It's horrible either way. It's also now extremely sensitive to caffeine and can hurt from it, I tried Monster once and I pissed myself from the bladder spasms it caused. 🙃 🤣 Not fun.

my husband has MS and uses a power chair now, he has neurogenic bladder and can't pee. he has to self cath 4-5 times a day. eventually he'll prolly need an SPC because his MS affects his left hand, and you need your hands to cath. but for now, it's less infection risk and trouble to just self cath.

Same, T12 L1 here. The bladder is usually cooperative with self cath.

I'm a T10 I believe, it's been 3 year's so I'm not too sure, maybe a T12. I must check again. I've got a catheter though. I've a strange thing that happens to me. Every 2nd day my bowel and sphincter muscles spasm on my RHS all day then the next day I'm fine. Other words, good day and a bad day.

I am a t5 my bladder is fu** up but over the 18 years I have learnt how to manage without accidents, accidents still happens but that's only if I neglect my routine timing.

I was 48 when I had my sci 5 years ago and I got a suprapubic catheter and a colostomy bag within the 1st year cause I had no interest in changing my diapers constantly

Yes, and there’s also no cure. Treatment but no cure. Just have to find ways to outsmart our bodies before they make us have accidents.
