I didn’t have a perfect journey, but I gave motherhood everything I had. I loved them through the hard days, prayed over them through the uncertain days, and kept pushing even when I was tired, hurt, or had every reason to give up. I want my children to look at my life and know that their mother didn’t just survive—she became. She went back to school. She built a home. She created stability. She kept God at the center. She turned pain into purpose and obstacles into stepping stones. Everything I’m building isn’t just for me. It’s for them. I want to leave my children more than memories. I want to leave them wisdom, faith, character, education, assets, opportunity, and a legacy they can build upon. To my babies: You are some of the greatest pieces of my heart walking around outside of me. I pray you never question how deeply you are loved. I pray God protects you, orders your steps, gives you discernment, and surrounds you with people who genuinely want to see you win. And when you look back at my life one day, I hope you say: “My mama showed us what it looked like to keep going.” I may not be able to give you everything in this world, but I promise you this I will spend my life doing everything I can to leave this world better for you than it was when I found it. My children are my WHY. My legacy is their inheritance. And my prayers will cover them long after I’m gone. 🥹❤️🙏🏾 Lisa’s Kids loved deeply, prayed over consistently, and raised to know that they can become ANYTHING God has called them to be.
