Stewardship before increase ✝️ 📖 “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.” — Proverbs 21:5 You can pray for profitability and still overtrade. You can pray for bigger payouts and still mishandle the money you already make. You can pray for more funded accounts and still break the rules on the ones you already have. You can ask God for increase while ignoring the responsibility attached to what He has already placed in your hands. Faith does not replace discipline. Prayer does not replace patience. And asking for more does not excuse poor stewardship of what you already have. As traders, we have to be honest with ourselves. Are we managing risk well? Are we controlling greed? Are we accepting losses? Are we protecting our capital? Are we being responsible with payouts? Are we following our rules when nobody is watching? Sometimes the breakthrough is not another account, another payout, or another strategy. Sometimes the breakthrough is becoming disciplined enough to properly handle what God has already given you. So instead of only praying: “God, give me more.” Try praying: “God, teach me to steward what I already have with wisdom, patience, discipline, and gratitude.” Because more without stewardship can disappear just as quickly as it came.
