@yo_britt.s: Overcoming fear has been a big thing for me this year. I’d been wanting a home to call my own for years, but like so many of us, was intimidated on the process and how. Even if people believed in me, I struggled to believe in myself. What helped me: - ASK questions, embrace help from the experts - SAVE, at least 5-15% every paycheck. Something every month, a little goes a long way over time. - BUDGET, I have a spreadsheet where I could figure out what to keep and cut out. - TREAT yourself in at least one way. For me, that’s the gym and having @Dutch Bros Coffee. When you care for yourself, you can accomplish more and help others better. - SURRENDER, I knew I might not get approved or it wouldn’t work out — and that would have been ok. What’s meant to be, will be. If you’ve been afraid to go for something, I hope this message finds you.
