@vsrsus: Yolanda Thomas, history will remember your name. Became the first Black woman to coach an NWSL match when Orlando Pride beat Houston Dash earlier this week. Before coaching, Thomas played in Sweden and the USA. So it makes sense she knows a thing or two ABBA winning. Stepped into the role as interim head coach after Orlando parted ways with legendary coach Seb Hines, bringing an end to his six years in charge. She’s already served as assistant coach for three years so she’s no stranger to the Pride. And best believe she’s going for the Lion’s share. She was in the cut during their legendary 2024 winning run, and now she’s ready to take opposition to the chopping block. Already secured her first three points, and with play-offs on the horizon, becoming MVP is what YT’s here to do. Catch her if you can. #nwsl #orlandopride
