@tranquilstreamsmusic: The left hand plays the same figure the whole way through. Nothing underneath it ever changes. 🤍 No key change, no build, no second idea arriving to rescue the first. It sets up a small pattern in the first few seconds and then simply keeps it, for three and a half minutes. By every rule anyone teaches, that should get boring. It doesn't. What it does instead is stop being something you follow. Once you stop waiting for it to go somewhere, it turns into a room you're sitting in rather than a story you're being told.
