Here’s a funny thing: in Ohio it is against the law to issue a speeding ticket unless there is an officer physically present “near” the sight of the cameras. Currently this township and others, like it are getting away with a loophole, which the Supreme Court of Ohio made an opinion on whereby townships have the right to excise income tax as they see fit. Township are now using this loophole for anything and everything. People need to band together and file their grievances with their state attorney general.

When they tried these speeding cameras in Missouri a guy fought it and the state Supreme Court ruled them unconstitutional due to 6th Amendment violations and they were quickly removed.

Where the camera is placed it’s also right before the 55 mph sign which people naturally speed up to be at 55 mph by the time they hit the sign. And the cameras are conveniently placed about 50 yards from that sign

People need to file class action suit speed cameras are illegal plus these cameras aren’t government issued those tickets can’t do anything to your license or insurance don’t pay them

the data says pple are 1 paycheck away from dire consequences meanwhile a 175$ ticket can shorten that result. my guess, the camera company takes a 40% cut. 175$ is a lot of money.

Which camera got me (where exactlyis it)? When was the last time it was calibrated and certified? Who is the issuing officer? Were there any other vehicles near me at the time? Could it have possibly clocked one of the other vehicles? If AI is involved, what's the error rate?

If the cameras were truly for safety, they would be in town where the people are, NOT on the outskirts of town where the speed transitions are. ITS A MONEY GRAB. TIME FOR A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.
