Something i haven’t heard people talk about is that in the book we see during the time Egg is captured in the ”location” part of the book the Y coordinates say -67 and as far as i know -64 is the lowest you can go, -64 being the bedrock layer. The coordinates being in the void might mean the book was written in the underworld, specifically in the citadel. It might just be a plot hole but i don’t think so.

I got a theory, Wemmbu didn’t give a damn that egg’s a scholar bc since egg breaks the forth wall the most, Wemmbu just assumed he meant like actual scholar like a student in school/collage but egg was foreshadowing the scholar community
