these are my composite bonds!!!! i was born with an uneven jaw which couldn’t be fixed with braces, so my teeth grew unevenly. i got composite bonds on the 2, and then a few years later i got the 4 front done. best decision of my life.

As someone who was brought into the world by an addict and then neglected and abused and passed around due to that which has now led me to develop BPD and bipolar and be unable to have my own kids because I’m too unwell I 100% agree with that statement.

as an expecting first time mum i can completely agree that not everyone who becomes a parent should necessarily have children and have seen so many shocking stories! however “licensing” prospective parents as a concept is equally problematic eg. who determines the thresholds for good parenting? how is this evaluated? it seems like a sure way to prevent certain groups from reproducing and then becomes a slippery slope to government control over which demographics are allowed to contribute to the population HOWEVER i strongly believe that child services, mental health services and similar child protective measures should be much greater funded to protect children and help families be able to provide best for their children as far too many children are born into unsuitable or unsafe environments that could be preventable!

Number 1 ABSOLUTELY agree. I feel like your emotional maturity should be assessed, amongst other things. Some people are too childish, stubborn and unwilling to learn. People who don’t learn how to raise kids properly, don’t try and give them a healthy lifestyle, don’t care about safety guidance. The ‘it’s my kid I can do what I want’ kinda parents.

my front teeth had a huge gap and they were triangle not square, so I definitely look better after composite bonding and braces 😂 changed my life 😀

I’m 26, everyone around me my age is popping babies out left right and centre and initially I felt so behind but I don’t have a ground floor flat yet, I don’t drive yet and mentally I’m not in a good position just yet - heavily dealing with OCD. I want to be in a good place and sort myself first before bringing a huge responsibility into the world, the last thing my baby needs is a mother with PPD and extreme ocd (and no it’s not all about being clean, it’s much much worse).

My parents were foster carers from when I was 10 months old, for 26 years, and I can whole heartedly say I agree!! The amount of children who go through traumatic things before they’re even potty trained is awful😩

Oh my gosh I agree about the teeth! When teeth are too perfect or too white it's legit all I can stare at 🤣 I am so insecure about my teeth but people probably don't even notice them.

I’ve always said I wouldn’t try to have children if I wasn’t mentally at my best. How can I expect to look after a child to the best of my ability when I struggle to look after myself? That’s not fair on the child
