It’s such a money grab. Sonographers now have to take 4 registry review quizzes each year, for each registry we hold. 3 registries. 12 quizzes a year. It’s a test run this year but you can bet, we will pay to take them in the future. Along with our 30 CEU’s. And if we are X-ray, too. That’s a whole other process. Basically, charging us to do our jobs, that we already do well, or we’d not have jobs. Unreal.

I personally think if you have proven to the state that you are abiding by all the requirements and doing all the tasks…the state should pay for it. We are already in debt from school. We literally help to save, heal, and keep people alive for a living. That goes beyond public service. Nurses don’t make as much as people think.
