@bigdawg_rn: How to study for the NCLEX without using 10 different resources or doing hundreds of random practice questions every day. For this NCLEX study method, you really only need TWO things: a QBank and a solid set of lecture videos. Start by taking a 40 question mixed quiz in your QBank. Then analyze your results and identify ONE specific weak content area. Don’t just say “pharmacology.” Narrow it down to the actual subject your results show you’re struggling with, such as cardiac, respiratory, maternity, pediatrics, or an even more specific topic within those areas. Then focus ONLY on that weakness. Watch a lecture on the topic while creating a handwritten study packet. Don’t copy everything word for word. Understand it, paraphrase it, and write the important concepts in your own words so you’re actively processing what you’re learning. Once you finish, go back to your QBank and complete 20 question quizzes focused specifically on that weak area. My benchmark is 14 out of 20, or 70%, three times in a row. Why does this work? Because instead of repeatedly practicing what you already know, you’re creating a cycle: Find the weakness → learn the content → immediately apply it → prove you can apply it consistently. Then you move on to the next weakness and repeat. I call this Single Subject Learning, and it’s the strategy I used when preparing to pass the NCLEX. You do NOT need every NCLEX resource on the internet. You need a system for actually improving the areas costing you questions. Share this with your NCLEX study buddies so you can try Single Subject Learning together.#nclex #nclexrn #nclexstudying #nclexprep #nclextips

I failed using archer at 150, just bought Uworld since people said it’s more content heavy. Taking again in October I follow you and nurse Nicole I have done mark k I did dr Sharon videos I did what you have said both systems have said based on assessments and cats and not having much “weaknesses” I’m frustrated. I’m a very very anxious person though and didn’t sleep for a week not knowing what to expect or how it was set up so I’m hoping that was my biggest issue also I didn’t take the break like you said we should. Def a hint I’m taking going into the next one! 🥺

I like the boot camp because it comes with crash course videos and it comes with cheat sheets I do 30 questions and every question I get wrong I write it out I read the rationale write down the key takeaways and then I just go back to the videos and watch whatever o had missed. I’m hoping this help me pass. I’m so nervous

I have saunders. It’s harder than I thought and I like that. I also listen to Mark K lecture 12. Super nervous. I write notes on my weak areas ( Peds , maternity , and some endocrine disorders )

I’m not sure if it’s still applicable but back when I took the old NCLEX, ATI was literally the best tool to study! The dynamic quizzes were pretty much all I studied and i passed first try in 75!
