You’d print IF you had a printer. I always had to find a piece of paper and hand write all the direction.

Don’t forget the step where we take the print out to our father for approval of whether Mapquest identified his preferred/ favoured route that he has trialled and tested for 40 years … and then having him over-write with a pen the ammendments😂

I used deliver pizza and you had to look at map on the wall and either memorize where you were going or write it down. if you got lost, you had to radio the restaurant and hope someone could help you figure it out

I got lost driving home from an nsync concert in Oakland. should have been an hr and 15 min drive... took us FOUR hours. called mom and she said, "just follow anything that says north or west! I dont know where you are." 😂😂😂

:my first job (when I was 14) was creating TripTicks for AAA, I was Mapquest before Mapquest existed 🤣

And there were certain members of society that we all trusted with giving us verbal directions if we still got lost. Gas station attendants, pizza delivery people, taxi drivers, the oldest man loitering outside of any establishment…and so on. 🙂
