No it has nothing to do with the store giving samples it's that brand. If you look up that brand and the hatch chili ones there were thousands and thousands from Costco that were returned because they were moldy. It's strictly that brand it has nothing to do with that store. Because even if you bought them at Walmart they're still moldy

nobody is eating that unless she is serving it. Food goes bad. there is no big box store that would knowingly serve that. My wife works claims at a big box store. they don't give 2 F's about throwing out any food that is suspicious. Most of the time it just gets charged back to the vendor anyway.

I love Costco on Saturday or Sunday morning. I’ve never gotten anything bad same when I used to have a Sam’s membership, but I don’t go there anymore…..🤷🏽‍♀️

Can’t see if it was moldy until opened stores want to sell but not moldy and or bad that would defeat the purpose to sell! This has to be a freaky thing. It’s up to the discretion of the person sampling. I know because I have done this sampling at a couple of stores.
