😂 I’m not saying AI safety shouldn’t be taken seriously because it absolutely should, but when someone says AI could “destroy all of humanity,” my first question is: where’s the actual evidence showing that outcome? Showing that AI can be misused, hacked, behave unexpectedly, or help a human do something dangerous proves that we need strong safeguards, but it doesn’t automatically prove AI is going to turn into Terminator and wipe everybody out. 😂 Maybe he has more evidence than what was shown in this interview, and I’m open to hearing it, but there’s a big difference between saying “AI could become dangerous if humans give it too much access and control” and saying “AI is smart enough, therefore it will kill us.” Intelligence alone doesn’t magically give AI access to every computer, weapon, laboratory, power grid, or machine on Earth. Humans decide what these systems are connected to and what permissions they receive. So yeah, take AI risks seriously, but don’t replace evidence with fear. Show me the actual mechanism, the evidence, and how you got from “AI can be dangerous” to “AI will destroy humanity.” Then we can actually have that conversation. 😂
