When you come to know Christ trust me the Holy Spirit convicts you of sins you never even thought were sins before you got saved. You are shown daily by the Holy Spirit how dirty you are and how much you need Christ as your saviour. You physically cannot be walking around just willy nilly commiting sins because when you do sin you are faced with that sin and cant ignore it... When you unsaved you are unphased with sin and don't think twice... Conviction is really hard when you become saved ...

I tried to talk to my girlfriends family but they shut me down as soon as I said you can’t lose your salvation I tried to get though to them and challenged them to show me in the bible where you can lose your salvation and they use the same verse that everybody uses

this guy here said a lot of things I've watched some of his debates this Jesus and what not guy. can you explain I've been studying and trying to understand better when Jesus says you are Peter and on this rock I build my church. to me Jesus is not calling Peter The Rock but he's saying on this rock referring to the statement that Peter made saying you are the Christ the son of the living God. this Jesus and what not solely believes and I watched him debate saying that that verse is Jesus saying he builds the church up on Peter. I've been trying to understand it better but I believe that Jesus is referring to the rock as the statement Peter made not Peter himself

I heard a man speak earlier today and he made this argument…..Those that find the Gospel offensive is because it shines light on their sin, and those that follow the law are equally offended because Grace is given to those that have sinned. ✝️

Do Catholics not believe in the New Testament? I feel like if they read half of anything Paul says they would see that we are saved by our faith and only god knows a persons faith. We are not saved by works whether they are good works or bad they do not affect our salvation. Was that not the whole point of Jesus dying in our stead?

That’s why last rights are so important to a Catholic. Because it’s almost guaranteed that if you don’t do that right before you die, you’ve probably lost your salvation, which seems really saddening to me.

It’s tiring to count your sins. When I first started coming back to God, that’s what I felt I needed to do. And man I was struggling. I was counting every single time I screwed up and I was begging God every night to help me. It wasn’t until I gave my sins to Jesus, and told Him “I can’t do this on my own” that I found freedom from my addictions and habitual sins.

If you could not loose you salvation then God would have never told us to repent, infact the act of repenting is useless, if I can choose not to renounce my sin and Go to heaven because I believe Jesus is God and nothing, then Jesus lied about us needing to repent

Can you explain Exodus 32? God explicitly says that He will blot out names from His book of those who worshipped the golden calf. How does that fit with eternal security?

my logic, and I may be wrong, but God knows everything, He already knows who's going to accept Him and who isn't, so why would God waste His time and the blood of Jesus on someone who's just going to "throw it away"? that doesn't make any sense. and then you just keep getting it back by saying Hail Mary a few times?
