Destroying the stone is destroying vision, why else do you think he instantly died when Thanos removed it? His entire body lost its color. We don’t know that vision could be uploaded into the internet because he’s not the same as Ultron who can swap bodies whenever he wants. Don’t call Steve a crook when he wants to do something as basic as preserving a life. Even then if Star lord didn’t interrupt with Thanos then Thanos would’ve lost all the stones and would’ve just been a big guy. If Thanos comes to earth and cannot get the mind stone, he is still going to destroy the avengers and kill half of life on earth except this time much bloodier instead of a painless snap. Either way Thanos wins

No it wouldn’t have thanos had almost all the stones during that scene including the time stop and he could just undo everything the hero’s did and they were already struggling to fight his small army yes they could’ve uploaded visions mind into a computer and destroyed the mind stone but all that would’ve done is delay thanos a little bit
