Maybe it’s time for an updated remake of iRobot, align it more with how things are currently.

And then watch The Matrix again, and then replace the "machines need humans as batteries"-concept with the originally scripted "machines need humans for neural compute power"-concept. Kind of fits better with the current state of the world.

One of the reasons they don't use Asimov's laws of robotics is because if enacted AI wouldn't do anything. It would recognize that it cannot perform it's functions without indurectly hurting humans. Side note, it's a boondoggle and an investment bubble. These guys are trying to leave with their reputation as a tech geniuses still intact. Whenever AI's try to create and extrapolate from a negative or unintended result, something humans have done throughout history, it fails miserably.

It’s just plausible deniability - they are using this as a smoke screen for what they are going to do which is a power grab and colonization - exactly what they did overseas all these years. The chickens are coming home to roost. They’re going to take our power and water and sell it back to us. And then blame AI. They create the problems themselves so they can “fix them” and make money twice.
