💯💯💯 Children aren't children until they are born. Before that they are only potential children. Plus I have often been the provider in my relationships, expecting a man to take care of you more often than not leads to disappointment.

How is a mother not protecting and providing for their child when they do childcare, when they bath the child, when they help them brush their teeth, when they feed the child while following food safety guidelines, when they clean the house which prevents illness and injury, when help their child form healthy attachment styles, etc etc etc? By doing more domestic labour and child care they are doing more protecting and providing.

I had a friend who was married to a woman who told him she wanted kids but secretly aborted both pregnancies she had during their marriage. It wasn’t a safety issue. She had actually never wanted kids. She just thought he would eventually give up on this dream. She was wrong for lying, but I don’t believe she was wrong for the abortions. It’s hard to say that because I know how much that hurt him when he learned that she had done that. I’m sure he grieved those loses like he would have grieved a miscarriage. Ultimately though, I think he was more hurt by the lies and betrayal. He is now happier in his current marriage with his new wife and their kids. I don’t always think abortion is the right choice, but I acknowledge that if it’s not my pregnancy, it’s not my business.

Men have 100% say in the potential creation of their children. They have 100% say in who they decide to release their fluids in. If a man doesn't want a woman to decide rather or not she wants to develop a child from his voluntarily deposited fluids, then he could simply not deposit them in a woman who would choose not to. 🤷🏾♀

Everytime I hear men or women talking about being tak care if, I've always gotten the ick and I started thinking, have these people ever taken care of themselves at all, since they expect someone else to take over after they move out if their parents house?
