@alex_editor3: Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is heavily inspired by 1980s crime and action cinema, most notably the 1983 film Scarface.Scarface References The Vercetti Estate: Tommy Vercetti’s mansion is modeled after Tony Montana's infamous estate, complete with a large oval bathtub and similar interior decor. Apartment 3C: An Easter egg apartment features a blood-stained bathroom and a chainsaw, directly recreating a gruesome scene from the movie. The Final Mission: The mission "Keep Your Friends Close..." mirrors the final massive mansion shootout in Scarface, though Tommy survives unlike Tony Montana. Outfits and Plots: Tommy's starting street outfit resembles Tony Montana's look, and the opening drug deal gone wrong mirrors the film's premise. Other Movie References Speed (1994): The mission "Publicity Tour" requires Tommy to keep a limousine moving above a certain speed because a bomb is armed, which is a direct nod to the plot of Speed. Heat (1995): The bank heist mission "The Job" and the resulting police shootout reference the classic heist film Heat. Miami Vice (1984–1990): The entire aesthetic, pastel clothing, fast cars, and tropical mood of the game heavily draw from the iconic television series Miami Vice, which defined the look of 1980s Miami #gtavicecity #videogame #reference #scarface #miamivice
