bro a lot of people have been letting their orthodontists extract their teeth while they could've just expanded I'm literally shocked by the amount of people who blindly trust their orthodontist without even asking or researching

@jossscent: Do you recommend Double Jaw Surgery? I am in Houston saw Dr Alfi here….and he recommended this… haven’t done this yet. Scared and nervous, but all the other solutions seem skeptical, night guard and Botox and breathing machine..now not for me… Dr Alfi told me my ja is very narrow could be genetics, trauma, braces, Invisalign, and teeth extractions. I did all of these things and my mouth has changed in a bad way. No one tells you, but over time if you don’t use your retainer things can shift in a bad way, and with stress everything gets triggered. I’ve had a lot of complications now as I am older. Acid reflux, sleep apnea, tongue tie, even my muscles feel weak. I recently did an MRI and bloodwork. My general

Do I have a narrow palette? I have just enough room for my tongue but my orthodontist wants to do four premolar extractions because of my crowding. I’m worried once they pull everything back I’m not gonna have enough room.

How do I reverse the effects of premolar extractions. I got them for braces and it’s messed my face up. My lips and mouth have gone more narrow and jaw is way softer. What do u suggest

20 years ago they pulled my first molars on my top because my mouth was small. My mouth is forever messed up now 😫

slightly side note, my understanding is that wisdom teeth still usually have to be extracted even with correct expansion etc.. because our jaws are simply not built like they used to be. agree or disagree?

I know this has nothing to do with this video but my 4 month old is scheduled for lip and tongue tie release and I feel like I should cancel the appointment. He’s grown out of the symptoms (gassiness, clicking while feeding) that I thought were caused because of a tongue and lip tie. An ENT nurse practitioner recommended we still do the procedure to prevent speech and dental issues. Thoughts? Is the procedure that much worse if we end up having to do it later on?

it's the same with turbinate reduction. I have a really narrow palate and I can't breathe through my nose so my docs wanna cut up my turbinates instead of expand.
