Essentially everything in our world is connected to (and dependent on) the internet. Power grid, water systems, communications, transportation (planes, trucks, any relatively new privately owned vehicles), medical systems, vendors/stores, etc etc etc. It wouldn’t be that hard for AI to take all of that down.
