@kwetheone: A lot of people romanticize moving to Ghana until they actually have to deal with the day-to-day reality. I love living here, but there are definitely things that can make you question it sometimes. These are 5 reasons Ghana might not be for you. Be honest… could you see yourself living here? #ghana #relocating #businessmindset #africandiaspora
I almost fought 😂my supervisor because of time, meeting is 12noon ,we arrive at 12noon yet they appear 4pm knowing we have to close at 4pm...It's so disrespectful. Even on a date when I give you 10am and I get there before you ,I will just leave after 30 minutes without calling you. Unless it's a business deal,I will never wait for more than 30 minutes..

Well well well. Let me tell you this. Before you move to Ghana or anywhere in Africa, wipe out your western mindset and you will succeed.

I started visiting Ghana in 2015. Before I decided to relocate, I started by staying for four weeks, then one month, two months and eventually three months. I continued doing this until I relocated in 2026. I also made friends during my visits who were very helpful. They made sure I experienced life like a local. I took trotro, and whenever I wanted to buy something, they took me to Makola because shops like Melcom can be more expensive. They also explained many things to help me understand the lifestyle and culture. If you want to live in Ghana, I think it’s important to take your time, visit several times and experience Ghana as a local, not only as a tourist.
