@burleyisgood: Last week in Port Royal, Kentucky, at the age of 92, we lost one of our greatest common influences as a band. He was a poet, a farmer, a writer - truly a man who knew how to write a simple verse or phrase that could drive a stake straight into your heart. Back in 2024, we wrote and recorded a song directly inspired by his writing- "Jayber Crow". This one's for you Wendell Berry. See some of our favorite quotes of his. #wendellberry #indiemusic #poetry
