Tbh, he’s kinda right, I do feel Carragher loves to find a way to talk negatively about United but if we finish in the UCL spots again then it will be big in terms of the finances and attracting better players, it took Arsenal a few years of building consistent CL qualification and pushing on to challenge, People seem to think we are gonna go from finishing 15th-3rd to Champions, we are probably not the 3rd best team in the prem despite what last seasons table shown

Of the 17 games Michael Carrick managed last season, only 2 teams (Manchester City and Crystal Palace) had a midweek game before playing United where they didn't make at least 5 rotations to the starting line up. So, the narrative of no midweek games is nonsense because United's opponents in 15/17 games also had no midweek game, or rested all their key players. 👍
