How do people like this? It has the worst cgi and dialogue I’ve seen this year

I’m gonna be outcast here, I unfortunately didn’t like it, great action but that’s all it kinda executes well, lotta cool themes and the stuff w the aliens was cool too but it felt too little, also it felt like sequel bait at the end. I’ll watch the sequel if it’s made tho tbh

I love that they didn’t drop a single bit of lore until like 2 minutes left in the movie

I’m still processing what I watched. I’ve never needed a sequel faster.

So many fake Roger Ebberts in the comments who probably loved Sharknado.

Craziest movie I’ve ever seen by far. Movie of the year for the first hour, and crazy action film with no clue what was gonna happen at the next turn for the rest 😭

I thought it was great! The cinematography was really fantastic. The effects were pretty good, perhaps not the best the world had seen, but who cares?! I admire a filmmaker who doesn't let "perfect" effects get in the way of telling the story they want to tell. It was insane, loud and intense! The soundtrack is very good also, I've been listening to it since Wednesday when it was released!
