What state are you in? Is radon common in your area?

I’d just run the pipe into the downspout.

battery backup and some sort of screened term on the end of the pipe. critters will get in how it is and the last thing you need is a soaking dead chipmunk in your line.

You can’t let it drain outside like that, it can’t go to “daylight” same with your down spouts. Supposed to go to the storm sewer, your not pushing the water far enough away from the foundation, also I wouldn’t use a cheap pump, get a champion, liberty, or pro series

Buy a water detector to place on the ground next to your hole in case the pump seizes or stops working so you get a warning.

please please dig a trench as far from the home as possible and discharge the line to a street or storm sewer.. you dont want the sump pump discharging close to your homes foundation because its defeating the purpose of taking the water away from your home..

For future add a union where you joint coupler is for easy maintenance and easier swaps when a pump goes out

Why didn’t you put a union fitting in right after the pump so it’s easier to remove when you have to replace the pump?

You didn’t want to make the pipe flush to the wall?

Please get a decent pump. Liberty or Zoeller. You can use that one as a backup but please put a good pump in there.

Cleaner way to do it would be to 45 to the wall so the pipe isnt wobbling around. Probably wont run much anyway but helps keep it more secure

The riser was perfectly plumb then you put the check valve in and it’s crazy crooked!

Add a water sensor and let the sensor be about 2 inches above the pump. That’ll give you time if it fails.
