Anthony Valotta :
“And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.”
John 17 : 5 , this is commonly left out when people quote John 17:3. John 20:17 Jesus says MY father, pointing to his sonship, being the son of God and all. John 14:28, a few verses back Jesus says this: “In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.””John 14 : 20 - 21 , John 8:17-18 is Jesus literally saying that the father is his witness, which is the one that confirms his identity with his miracles. He’s making it clear that he is distinct from his father, all these verses do is support the Trinity. Mark 13:32 again Jesus is submissive to the father, doesn’t make him not also God, Jesus limits his powers while on earth meaning he isn’t actually all knowing while on Earth, the same way he actually feels things like pain, hunger, fear and actually learned things while growing up. John 5:19- The Son’s nature and will are so completely one with the Father's that it is impossible for Him to act in isolation or contrary to the Father. Everything Jesus does on Earth, including healing on the Sabbath, is a direct execution of the Father's divine will. I see where you are coming from with these verses but it just further agrees with what we understand about Jesus and his role inside of the Trinity.
