@alicialissyparker: The cutest, most wholesome moment I've had with a Greek family 🥹🙏🏽🇬🇷 I stopped off at a family little shop just for 5 minutes to get a drink and they asked if I wanted to try their homemade wine and olives (two of my favourite things, so obviously I said yes) What started off as five minutes turned into an hour trying all of their food, wine, talking about life, laughing and even being welcomed into their family home. This is what travelling is about to me. Not the tourist places but the people who open their doors and hearts for no reason at all. Just when I thought my heart was full, the owner of the shop told me she had a little surprise and turned around holding this puppy!! I didn't know how much I needed this snuggle until it happened 🥹🐾 I left with the biggest smile, wine, olive tapenade and even got their orange honey! It was genuinely the best food I've ever tasted and all made by their family 😭 they don’t have social media or marketing and just rely on word of mouth. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon such beautiful souls and get the opportunity to really experience Greek culture, I'll carry this memory with me forever ✨
