“I could feel it pulling the heat out of the blister.” 🔥🌿 After an herbal experiment involving garlic went very, very wrong, Ashley Elenbaas found herself with severe burns on the bottoms of her feet. Then, at 2 AM, she thought of bee balm. Ashley went outside, picked some fresh bee balm, chewed it into a spit poultice, and applied it to the burns. By morning, she says the blisters were significantly less irritated. Bee balm has traditionally been used as a burn remedy to help disperse heat. Ashley shares that a gentler approach for something like a sunburn or oil burn is to brew the leaves as a tea and apply it as a cool compress. And as for putting raw garlic on your feet?
