Maybe try having cooked noodles in a separate ziplock bag or small container. Put the hot broth in the lunchbox container so it can stay hot. Then the kids at lunch can dump the noodles into the broth. Cause noodles will stay soggy if you just leave it in the lunchbox with the broth for hours cause it will always just absorb the liquid. It’s best to just separate them and the kids can combine them when it’s time to eat.

put the water first and then mix in the flavor packet into the water so it will be evenly distributed into the noodles.

I mean it’s noodles what do you expect lol, if u let it sit in water for hours it’s going to soak up the water either way, I’d separate the broth & the noodles & when it’s Lunchtime the kiddos or the teacher can pour the broth on the noodles

Question for anyone that knows. My kindergartner wants to pack ramen for lunch. School does NOT want a hot bowl of liquid with the 5 year old. Can I just cook the ramen like normal then drain the liquid & put it in thermos to stay warm ??

If you're going to cook your Ramen like that maybe you need to mix your seasoning into the water before you put the noodles in, it will evenly distribute the flavor 🌻 I know you're only testing but I hope it helps

Put it separately!! Put the soup at a warm temperature and then when they add the pasta it will be warm and not soggy.

My suggestion is to have the broth boiling and have a cup noodle that cooks in 4 mins. They have the cup noodles like this at Hmart

I had to return the ones I ordered. even at the lowest temp it burnt the pasta and sauce to the pan. lowest temp i even tried chicken nuggets and it made them soggy. plus the whole thing was heavy and my kids bike and walk to school. they did not want to carry it

honestly at this point out the cooked noodles in a Ziploc no broth put broth in the lunch box. have it heat the broth and dump the cold cooked noodles into the hot broth and stir them around. also set the temp high cause the noodles will absorbed the heat from the broth making it cool down enough to eat
