@thedizzycook: Migraine Attack Ice: 🍎🫚 Apple Ginger Turmeric - this one mixes anti-inflammatory cinnamon, turmeric and ginger with apple cider for a great drink or ice to make ahead for attack days. Recipe linked in profile, or just google “dizzy cook autumn mocktail”. This one is a great mix of fall flavors but also can have some benefits too! Ginger and cinnamon have been studied to aid with migraine pain and nausea, while studies on turmeric have compared it to mild anti-inflammatory drugs. This way you can store in your freezer and mix with ginger ale or ginger beer for a fun mocktail. As always, my migraine drink recipes are never meant to be a substitute for treatment, but can help you hydrate, provide comfort and maybe even help bring some symptoms down a few notches. I personally find ginger helpful if I can either use it to help boost my acute meds or use it earlier in my attack. It’s also good any time to help with an upset stomach. Enjoy!
