theres so many fragrances now where its damn near impossible to have a completely original creations, theres always something that smells somewhat similar, so i think we do have to be abit more lenient on original creations especially like this when they are using things like cocoapulse

Honestly, I think it hits dupe territory when the bottle designs are VERY similar. lol You can have a “original” scent that just so happens to smell like another, but when it also looks like it, is when you gotta point out the obvious..

in many niche house you can find "dupe", so what?? if perfume is good its good, stop making a big deal ooo this is dupe ooo this is og.. a lot of people don't even get the difference ao stop with this dupe/og bull..a lot of perfume have same dna of course you can see similarity...if you like perfume buy it if not don't, there's people who will give hundreds for perfume, and theres ones who don't..again stop with this dupe/og shit because 90% will never know the difference

There’s thousands of fragrances, even new originals coming out will still have their vanilla, ambroxin, bergamot, and cedarwood making them similar or dupe of another fragrance.

I think “dupe” implies an intentional goal of creating something similar. Just because it has some similarities doesn’t necessarily mean they are the same or intended to dupe. I have great respect for Jordi Fernandez and he created a beautiful fragrance using the proprietary ingredient CocoPulse for Lattafa. It seems as if you are calling him out when your beef may be with Lattafa.

I mean there are so many fragrances out there, you could genuinely randomly squirt oils into a random blend, spray it and someone somewhere who’ll say it reminds then of smth. It’s both subjectively and objectively really hard to create something truly unique
