The road from Guinea to Sierra Leone is actually asphalt paved. you may have spent more hours driving in the rain rather than getting stuck

Actually the road from Conakry to Freetown is a very smooth drive....the road is so beautiful. The only disadvantage there is you should have spend more hours because of the rain. Anyway it's an experience for you....have a wonderful trip and enjoy your stay sis🥰
