@e.glp1: If you're on a GL🫛-1 medication, you already know it's a bit of a learning curve. 1. Hydrate like it's your job. 💧 GL🫛-1s slow everything down, including how thirsty you feel, so it's easy to get dehydrated without noticing. I keep a big water bottle with me at all times and sip throughout the day instead of waiting until I'm thirsty. It's helped with headaches, fatigue, and constipation more than almost anything else on this list. 😅 2. Protein first, always.🏋🏻 When your appetite shrinks, it's tempting to fill up on whatever sounds good. I've made it a rule to eat protein first at every meal so I'm not accidentally running low on it by the end of the day. Eggs, Greek yogurt, and chicken have become my best friends. 🌯😋 3. Eat slow and stop when you're satisfied, not full. 🙅🏻♀️ The old "clean your plate" instinct doesn't work anymore. I've had to relearn how to eat slowly and actually check in with myself mid-meal, because the "too full" signal hits differently now and comes on fast. 4. Rotate your injection sites. 💉 Using the same spot over and over can lead to irritation or lumps under the skin. I rotate between my stomach, thigh, and upper arm each week so no one area gets overworked. 5. Keep bland snacks on hand for nausea days. 🤢 Some days just hit different. Crackers, ginger chews, and applesauce have saved me more than once when nausea shows up out of nowhere. Having them ready means I'm not scrambling when I feel off. 6. Track your doses, weight, and supply so nothing sneaks up on you. 📲 This was a game changer for me. I use the Stackr app to log when I've taken my dose, keep an eye on my weight trends over time, and track how much medication I have left so I'm never caught off guard by a refill. Having it all in one place takes so much of the mental load off.😮💨 7. Give your body grace on adjustment weeks. 😌 Dose increases can bring a rough few days. I've learned to plan lighter schedules around those times instead of pushing through like nothing's different. It's made the whole process feel a lot more sustainable. 💪🏻 None of this replaces guidance from your doctor, but these are the small habits that have made my day-to-day so much smoother. Curious what's worked for others! 👇
