@raisingboysandgirls: Grief can show up in places we don’t always expect. ❤️‍🩹 Sometimes, it comes with changes in a family. Divorce can bring a lot of different feelings for kids, and for grown-ups, too. There may be sadness alongside relief. Missing alongside hope. Questions, adjustments, new routines and new ways of being a family. And kids may grieve some of what was familiar while also growing to feel safe and at home in what’s new. Our dear friend Toni Collier joins us this week for such a wise, honest and hope-filled conversation about grief, divorce and the importance of community for kids in seasons of change. And because she’s Toni, we laughed a LOT, too. 😂 She has such a gift for reminding us that hard things and beautiful things can live side by side. That our stories can hold loss AND hope.
