i feel like it's so important for all of us to be aware of the mystification and anthropomorphization of AI. it's a deliberate marketing strategy and tbh it all started w john mccarthy, the guy coined the term 'artificial intelligence' like 60 years ago. it tricks ppl into trusting AI more than they should, hides its limitations and its ACTIVELY preventing regulation..we absolutely need to stop talking about AI like it's a sentient autonomous being that's gonna kill us all and instead put all of the responsibility where it really belongs (technofeudalists)

Idk it all sounds like a big ad by big AI to push the narrative that these machines are sooooo advanced, making more people want to invest in them. When the reality is that these machines make mistakes constantly and are not this massive substitution for human labour like they claimed it would be, they are all bleeding money
