idk, Ive always seen blue in DC to represent hope (blue lanterns, Superman, ect) and with his character (when they aren't assassinating him) is also meant to stand for hope. so the red just feels like a cheap shot to make him more edgy. . also the bat family has TOO MANY RED CHARACTERS, THEY DON'T NEED MORE
